What is Medicaid?

Medicaid helps pay for healthcare services for children, pregnant women, families with children, and individuals who are aged, blind or disabled who qualify based on citizenship, residency, family income, and sometimes resources and healthcare needs.


How do I apply?


Persons applying for Kid Care CHIP or Medicaid programs may complete the Medicaid Application in English or Spanish.  The application may be mailed to the Wyoming Department of Health Customer Service Center at:

Pregnant women may also apply for the Presumptive Eligibility Program through a Qualified Provider. If determined presumptively eligible, they will receive up to sixty (60) days of coverage for outpatient services.  For a listing of Qualified Provider locations click here.
